Ashtanga is taught one-on-one in a small group setting and builds upon a regular daily practice. This system of yoga is appropriate for all ages and levels, and all are welcome to begin. Please note that in order to establish a proper foundation new students are required to commit to either a 1 month or 2 week period of practice.
What to expect when you arrive: You will start with sun salutations A + B, standing asanas, and into the primary series, methodically guided through the traditional gazing points, movements, and breaths until each sequence is integrated and committed to memory. New students will be provided with study and reference materials and are encouraged to ask questions whenever necessary.
Initial practice length will be approximately 1 hour. Feel free to arrive at a time of your choosing anytime between 7-10am. Sign up here to begin:
Sliding-scale and trade/exchange: Sliding scale and alternative payment options are prioritized for indigenous, trans, and POC practitioners, public school teachers, and single mothers to support regular and sustaining practice. Please reach out before signing up to discuss.
*Venmo @ashtanganarayani and physical payment in shala box are also accepted. Please remember to submit your fees within your first week of practice.
