Michelle 진아 “true-self” Song is the founder & director of Ashtanga Yoga Narayani. Her love and dedication to this system was instilled by her teachers Baba Hari Dass, Noah Williams, Sharath Jois, and her mother 송영인. She began yearly studies in Mysore, India in 2017 and was granted SYC Level 2 Authorization from Sharath Jois in 2022. Michelle continues to study with her primary teacher Noah Williams in Sapphire, North Carolina.  

The original shala location closed its doors in January 2025 in the aftermath of the Eaton Fires. Michelle currently lives in Laguna Beach, California and is accepting returning and new students at her home studio.
